Synopsis
In which Francesco Bonami offers tips to enjoying Venice, seeing his biennial and surviving it all. "The best strategy is to start from the edges and work toward the center. Because after three days, you’ll be too exhausted even to take a five-minute boat ride." (Actually I disagree with this after doing the biennale a dozen times. My advice: Start at the center, let the completists scour the external pavilions and then see only the ones that your smartest friends say were worthwhile.)
