My fun feature profile of the ever-inventive Christian Jankowski, who counters the classic control-freakness of artists by letting enormous parts of his pieces play put through chance. This taught me new ways to think about art and its relation to life. And Christian became a friend. Epilogue: We did a guided December 2024 tour of a CFA Basel show he had dedicated to the objects left behind by our dear mutual friend Harald Falckenburg.
