Synopsis
A short profile in French on the fascinating photographer Andrea Thal, who became one of my closest friends while she was living in Zurich. Pivoting to exhibition-making she co-founded the now legendary Les Complices off-space, and came to rank among the leading young curators in Switzerland - before bravely deciding to lead a new life as the director of the Contemporary Image Collective (CiC), an independent non-profit arts in Cairo.
