Synopsis
As AI started to be a topic of constant conversation, I explored its impact on music world with Steffen Berkhahn, aka Dixon, the renowned DJ and founder of Berlin's iconic Innervisions label. He traced the evolution of technology's impact on music production, and predicted that the musicians of the future would not only produce every element of a song, but could also single-handedly create the video and the merch that went with it. As a finale, we try to imagine what platform of the future for musicians should look like and decided it was a mix of: 1) TikTok's virality; 2) the Aslice (RIP) use of AI to fairly reward every contributor to a piece; and 3) the creator-economy power of OnlyFans.
