Synopsis
As part of my CNN Style Guest Editor role, I chose a dozen Insta accounts to convey how social media was impacting the artwold. (TBH, I wasn't even really in Insta at the time.) Alexie Glass-Kantor is quoted thus: "When I first logged on to Instagram it reminded me why I love images. Images matter. They connect people, stories and places. Instagram in the art world is an invitation to think outside your own square." And then came enshittifaction.
